Privacy Policy

1.1 Acknowledgement. Pebble Financial, Inc. (together with its affiliates and subsidiaries, “Pebble”, “we”, “us” and “our”) respects and protects the privacy of visitors to our website and our customers. This Privacy Policy describes the type of information that we collect from you - as well as our practices for using, protecting, and disclosing that information. This Privacy Policy covers all of your interactions with Pebble, whether through primary website, application, or any other websites, pages, or content we own or operate (collectively, the “Site(s)”, your use of the Pebble mobile application, our communications with you, or any other products or services provided to you by Pebble (collectively, the “Services”).

  1. Supplementation. We may supplement this Privacy Policy with the following:
  1. Specific Terms Agreed to by You.  If you qualify to participate in one or more Pebble products or services, we may ask you to enter into one or more supplemental agreements with us. In that event, the terms contained in those agreements will supplement the below provisions relating to the collection, use, sharing, and securing of your information.
  2. Other Supplemental Notices.  Additionally, we may supplement this Privacy Policy with other supplemental notices posted on specific web pages within the Site or within the Pebble mobile application.  These supplemental notices describe in more detail the information we collect via particular pages or services on the Site.
  3. Partner Privacy Policies.  Some of the Services that Pebble provides are offered in partnership with third parties. As part of accessing those Services, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions directly with such third parties which describe how Pebble and those third parties share information in order to offer such Services.

1.3 Acceptance of this Privacy Policy. By accessing any of our Services, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand the terms of this Privacy Policy and consenting to the processing of your information in the manner described within. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue your use of the Site or any Services.


2.1 Amendments. As Pebble grows and changes, this Privacy Policy may change with it. We may change this Privacy Policy or any supplemental notices or policies at any time to reflect changes in our practices. Such changes will not be effective until the revised Privacy Policy or other materials are posted on the Site. Any minor, non-material changes or clarifications go into effect immediately. Any material changes go into effect thirty (30) days after we provide notice. If we make a significant change, we will notify you by sending an email, or by posting a prominent notice on our website and/or mobile app. We will also update the date above.

2.2 Duty to Update. It is important to keep any information that you provide to us up to date. If any information that you have submitted to us in connection with your use of the Services changes, it is your duty to update such information or notify us of the change. Failure to update your personal account information including financial data or criminal records could result in termination of Service.


Pebble collects information that identifies you as well as other types of information about your activities on the Site and while using the Services. We describe each of these categories of information, and how we collect each of these categories, in more detail below.

3.1 Information You Provide Us. We collect information that you submit through our mobile app or website, including things like:

  1. Personal Information. This can include, among other things, your name, phone number, email address, physical address, and Social Security number. We’ll only use this information in strict accordance with the law.
  2. Identity Verification Information. In order to verify your identity, we may require you to provide us with certain government-issued identification such as a driver’s license or passport.
  3. Security Information. To keep your information and account secure, we will require information such as your username and password.
  4. Financial Information. To facilitate deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions, you may be required to provide us with your bank account information, payment card information, and related details.
  5. Information you give us permission to access. You may have the opportunity to give us explicit permission to see information like your address book, photos, geolocation, and camera data. You may also share with us information and data from social networks or other online accounts, including your access credentials for those accounts.
  6. Other. From time to time, you may provide us with other information about you as part of customer support correspondence, feedback surveys, and other interactions between you and Pebble.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically.  Certain other information will be collected automatically while you are using the Site or the Services, including things like:

  1. Browser-Based Information. We use “cookies,” “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Site. We use this information to improve the quality of our Services, to keep our Site secure, and to make your experience on the Site more meaningful and intuitive (for example, by remembering your preferences or providing you with a localized experience). Read “Cookie Policy” below for more information on what cookies are and how we use them.
  2. Online & Device Identifiers. This includes things like which device, operating system, mobile network, and browser you are using, IP address, device settings, location data, and device event information like Site crashes and the date and time of actions taken on the Site.
  3. Details about your transactions with us. This includes any investments, purchases, sales, and withdrawals on your account.


Like most websites and apps, we use cookies. By using the Pebble website and/or app, you agree to our use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy.

Cookies help us remember your preferences by keeping track of how many times you’ve visited 

our Site, how long you’ve spent there, and what you’ve done. We use Session Cookies to improve the Site and better serve you by understanding where you spend your time and which Services are most and least effective. We use Persistent Cookies to recognize you when you return to our Site so that we can customize your experience. The information collected in cookies is generally stored for between a few minutes and two years.

We use third-party cookies to determine whether advertisements that we run encourage more people to visit our website. Cookies never store any of your banking or card details.

You can always turn off cookies, usually in your browser or device settings. If you turn off cookies, you might still see ads for Pebble in other places. These ads will be general, not targeted based on your specific information.


We collect and process your information for a number of reasons, including:

5.1 To provide you with the Services.  We cannot provide the Services to you without collecting certain personal and financial information. For example, in order for you to complete certain transactions between your bank account and your Pebble mobile application, we need to gather information related to your bank and that transaction.

5.2 To personalize your experience with the Services. We use data about your identity, location, and preferences to deliver notifications and communications relevant to you, customize aspects of the Services to you, and connect you with people you may already know that are using the Services.

5.3 To comply with legal requirements. Pebble is subject to various legal and regulatory compliance obligations that require us to verify your identity in connection with providing the Services. We use your data to prevent legal activities like money laundering, tax evasion, and fraud and to enforce our Terms of Use including Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, etc..

5.4 To keep your account secure. In order to make sure that only you can access your account and to prevent fraudulent transactions, we need to verify your identity and your security credentials during log-in and in connection with completing certain transactions.

5.5 To provide you with customer support. In order to communicate with you and troubleshoot any potential issues or answer any questions you might have, we need to be able to access certain information that you provide to us or that we collect through your use of the Site and the Services. We also use your information to contact you to ask your opinions about the Services so that we can improve them.

5.6 To improve Pebble. In order to improve the Services that we provide, we need to know what is working (and what isn’t) so that we can use your feedback and that of other customers to make changes. Your information helps us ensure internal quality control, develop new Services, market them through our website, mobile app, email, or other means, maintain existing accounts, perform general account administration purposes and enforce our Terms of Service.


Pebble will never sell your personal information to a third party without your permission.  We only share your information with third parties where we have a legitimate need to do so in order to provide you with the Services.  We will only share your information with the following:

6.1 Identity & Payment Processors. We work with third parties to verify your identity and to process transactions within your Pebble account. These third parties can include card producers and networks, credit reference agencies, and Know Your Customer and cybersecurity service providers.  For example, you may use Plaid, Inc. (“Plaid”), Prime Trust, LLC (“Prime Trust”), or other Third-Party Providers to connect your Pebble account to your bank account, verify your bank account, and confirm balance details. Any information that is shared with our third-party providers is treated in accordance with their Privacy Policy. These current policies can be found below:

6.2 Custody Partners.  Pebble partners with third parties to provide secure custody of your account balance. In addition to you directly agreeing to any terms and conditions from such partners, Pebble may need to share certain account information with such third parties to verify and process transactions within your account.

6.3 Service Providers.  We contract with certain trusted third-party consultants and vendors as part of our business operations. Our agreements with these third parties require them to only use your information in connection with the Services and to protect your information. These third parties include cloud storage providers, information technology firms, customer support software providers, and marketing partners. We won’t share identifying personal data with third parties for their own direct marketing unless you give us permission, and you can opt out at any time.

6.4 Professional Advisors.  We may need to share your information with legal, accounting, compliance, insurance, and other professional advisors in order to comply with our legal obligations and business requirements.

6.5 Potential Acquirers.  In connection with, or in anticipation of, any sale, merger, financing or acquisition of Pebble, we may need to share information as part of such process.

6.6 Regulators or Legal Action.  In connection with a valid legal request, to prevent fraud, to detect and prevent terrorism, and to protect our legal interests we may be required to share your information.

6.7 Other. We may otherwise share your information if you give us permission or instruction to do so.


We keep your personal information for as long as you are using Pebble and for six (6) years after that to comply with legal requirements. In some circumstances, such as cases of money laundering or fraud, we may keep data longer if necessary or required by law.


Pebble has implemented measures intended to secure your information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. When you enter sensitive information, such as a debit card number or bank information, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). In addition, we limit access to your data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

You also play an important role in maintaining the safety and security of your information. Where we have given you access credentials, such as a username and password, you are responsible for keeping these credentials confidential. You may also opt to enable multi-factor authentication. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure, and no company, including Pebble, can fully eliminate security risks. Although we have taken appropriate security measures to prevent your data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to or from us, including via email, or the security of any links accessible from our Site.

You have a right to:

  1. Access the data we hold about you or get a copy of it. See “Access to Your Information” below for more information;
  2. Correct or amend the data that we hold about you;
  3. Ask us to delete, block, or suppress data we hold about you. For legal reasons, we may not always be able to fulfill such requests;
  4. Object to our use of your data for certain purposes, such as direct marketing or research;
  5. Request the transfer of your data to you or a third party; and
  6. Withdraw any consent you have previously given us.


The Sites may, from time to time, contain links to websites owned and operated by third parties (“Third-Party Sites”). We encourage you to review the privacy policies of such Third-Party Sites so that you understand how those websites collect, use, and share your information.  We are not responsible for the privacy notices, practices, or other content on Third-Party Sites. 

By using our Services, you grant certain Third-Party Sites the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your relevant financial institution(s). You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by those Third-Party Sites in accordance with their privacy policies.


This Site is intended for use by residents of the United States of America only, and the Services are not available to all U.S. residents. Please see our prohibited Restricted Jurisdictions in Terms and Conditions (https://www.pebble.us/terms-conditions). You should be aware that the United States and other countries have not harmonized their privacy regulations. This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with United States requirements. By using the Site, you agree to the level of privacy protection set out in our Privacy Notice.


Pebble does not knowingly collect personal information from any person under the age of 18.


You can update, modify, or delete personal information you’ve provided to us by emailing Pebble at support@pebble.us. We may retain certain information as required by law or for necessary business purposes.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits Site users who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge.

It is important to note that if you desire to update, modify or delete personal information that you have provide to us, we recommend that you also contact any third-party sites that you have linked to and provide information to directly under their privacy policies, as we do not control those third parties’ privacy practices and policies.
